These pre-tied KD rigs are a worthy addition to Kordas ready-tied rig range, such is the popularity and effectiveness of this presentation. Korda was at the very heart of the KD-rig revolution a few years back, and the likes of Tom Dove and Ali Hamidi still use it, as well as its variant, the Muzza.
So, with this in mind, Korda wanted to make sure that their ready-tied version was what they considered to be the ultimate KD on the market. After Tom tied and approved what he considered to be the perfect KD rig, we had it copied by our rig tiers. Youll notice that each ready-tied rig has been meticulously produced, to Toms exacting specifications. The result is a range of rigs that Tom himself would happily cast out and use with confidence!
The range, is tied with proven Korda components, which include ultra-sharp Kurv Shanks and N-Trap coated braid. The range includes rigs with both barbed and barbless hooks, and in sizes that cover almost all eventualities. The KD range is available in hook sizes six, eight and ten and each rig comes with free Extenda stops and standard hair stop
To make the KD work best you must use a balanced bait. The hook should lay flat with the bait hovering above it.
Different size extend stops supplied allow the rig to be used with numerous hookbait sizes and combinations.
1. Pop up balanced with a split shot on the hair
2. Korda slow sinking corn, maize or dumbbells
3. Drilled out bottom bait fishing muzza style with Korda bait drill and cork
