For years these dredge protectors have been standard with every hardbait that we deliver. Our Deadbait leaders and Stingers also have these particularly handy peg protectors. Because many fishermen were only too keen to purchase these peg protectors separately, we responded. The dredge protectors, known to us as the Treble Hook Protectors, are now available per 6 pieces in one package.
The sizes of the dredge protectors are tailored to VMC dredges. The Treble Hook Protectors are available in sizes 6 to 3/0. The Treble Hook Protectors are provided with a “click system” on the inside and this keeps them securely on the dredges and they can also be easily removed from the dredges. Easy for people who want to transport their plugs loose in, for example, a bag or jacket pocket. Certainly also useful for keeping your plugs apart in the tackle box!
