This new pole will take margin fishing to another level and we firmly believe this is by far and away the very best Margin Pole ever to be seen or produced. A true British profuct designed and built for the British Angler fishing British Venues.
It is totally different to all of our previous margin poles. Built on all new Madrills to give us optimum length and performance we believe the British Angler is demanding. This of course means that it will not interchange with any previous models and the top kit is totally different.
It is made from the bery best and strongest Carbon fibre we use withing our company. Resins are introduced by an injection system and the carbon is wrapped using our very own Xtra Reinforcing System, the Tri-Cast XRS System. Thus making it as strong as possible but at the same time keeping it very light and balanced with fantasic repsonse. Hence the name ULTRA, because it is ULTRA STRONG, ULTRA LIGHT, and ULTRA RESPONSIVE.
So how does it differ from previous models? It is longer, Stiffer, Stronger and far more responsive.
After speaking to many match anglers, it came to the forefront that Margin fishing is now a very important part of the match scene. Big weights are being caught in the margins and the bigger fish come into feed near the pallets and platforms because they know this is where a lot of bait gets thrown in. In matches most fisheries given the chance like to give anglers as much room as possible. They do this by missing every other peg out in a match so that each angler has a spare platform either side to fish to. Sadly this is where the big problem lies, most of these platforms are a good 10 to 12 metres away and most margin poles are just not long enough to reach. So an angler has to risk using his match long pole to fish long down the edges. Not good news as these poles can be expensive and are not designed for really big fish.
Therefore we asked our design team here at Tricast to build a proper margin pole for fishing 12m.
This pole does everything you want!
This new margin pole has a long 1.74m Power Top Section and replaces the old style top 2 kit. This improves the pole in 2 major ways. Firstly it improves stiffness and response and secondly you now have the optimum length of pole elastic going thorugh the section. With the bore tip having an internaly diameter of 5.4mm, no cutting back is required to accommodate big elastics.
It is supplied complete with a spare power top kit and also a cupping kit.
