The Poison Adrena range combines the expertise and innovation of two of the best brands in the business! Poison Adrena rods are manufactured by Shimano and designed in conjunction with Jackall Lures – two companies at the very top of their respective games. Shimano Poison Adrena rods are the ultimate fishing tool for casting accuracy and distance, plus exceptional sensitivity and lightness. Combining the unique perspectives of a top rod manufacturer and a top lure design company has created a rod range crafted to perfection, for any given technique. Poison Adrena rods feature Spiral X blanks, an advanced construction forming a lightweight, thin-walled blank, reinforced both internally and externally with carbon tape. Spiral X virtually eliminates both ovalisation and torsion (twist) in the blank. Spiral X blanks improve casting accuracy and distance, whilst feeling lighter and recovering more quickly. Poison Adrena reel seats are constructed from Shimano’s revolutionary CI4 material and deliver increased sensitivity by transmitting feeling from the blank to the hand, whilst contributing to the rod’s overall lightness. With sensitivity increased by a massive 30%, thanks to the Poison Adrena’s special Carbon Mono Grip, feeling those short, sensitive bites has never been easier! The new Carbon Monocoque butt section is an extension of the blank through to the bottom of the rod, this helps decrease weight and improves sensitivity by eliminating unnecessary materials.
