I bought this reel in a 1000 size to pair with the Okuma Psycho Perch rod making the whole setup very light. The reel is really smooth with a decent smooth drag. Even though the Reel is light it still feels solid with zero flex. After a bears use the reel still runs smooth amazing reel for the price.
