Built around extreme strength high modulus blanks that blend 24 and 30 tonne carbon with a strengthening cross wrap and 1K weave the new 2019 Black Ops series rods are beyond comparison.

Featuring the highest grade fittings seen on any Nash production rod they use Alps ARD matte black reel fittings for a custom flavour, with knurled twin locking collars and minimalist design. Pacific Bay high stand off Minima guides from a 50mm butt to an anti-frap tournament tip on all 9 and 10ft models give the smoothest casting performance of any Scope yet.

Carbon line clips, carbon back stops to prevent rod creep and matte black para cord butt grips complete a serious package of looks and pure performance. Available from the compact 6ft models to stepped up 3.5lb blanks for the most extreme carp in the toughest environments.

The Shimano Ultegra Ci4 5500 XTC Reel
The use of CI4+ delivers a substantial weight saving on the compact Ultegra body making rod speed easier to generate when distance casting. To further increase casting performance the Ultegra uses 2 Speed Slow Oscillation line lay and an AR-C spool fitted with the new Hi-Speed Drag mechanism. Cold Forged HAGANE gearing and X-Ship produce powerful winding performance and 5 Stainless A-RB bearings plus a Shimano Roller bearing deliver supreme smoothness. The reel is protected according to Shimanos latest innovation X-Protect which will guarantee to protect the reels inner parts against intrusion from water and dirt. The G Free Body in combination with the Parallel Body will help the angler to achieve long and accurate cast without unnecessary fatigue throughout the day. The new Ultegra CI4+ has a very compact body design which contributes to the feel of a compact and lightweight big pit reel.
