Although still relatively new to the pike bait scene, lamprey have made a huge impact over the last few years and have accounted for a lot of fish. Lamprey are not just a pike bait either, some big zander and catfish have also fallen to this bait.
Lamprey are members of some of the extremely primitive jaw-less’ fishes, that feed by sucking the blood from other fish. They contain a very large amount of blood that simply oozes out of a cut bait!
Fished either on the bottom or popped-up using our Bait Poppers, lamprey are eel shaped and have a very tough skin, so they can take regular recasting and it is not unusual to catch several fish on the same bait. Write your own review on this item here
