Inter-Extensions explained.

This is a feature designed to make the poles stiffer and more responsive than before. When you are looking to fish at 14.5, the extensions to take you to these lengths fit between the 11.5m
13m sections. These are designed to be strong, remain slim and provide an even weight distribution along the bigger sections when fishing at length. This keeps the pole stiffer and very well balanced, which you can certainly feel at 14.5. In simple terms the 13m section is always used as the last section on the pole.

The new Series 5 poles are top 6 compatible with existing Sensas series 4 poles. They feature parallel butt sections to extend the pole to 14.5
16m without increasing the diameter. The 13m section (section 9) is extra strong and is always fitted to the bottom of the pole to increase stiffness at 14.5 and reduce weight. The sections on these poles are only 175cm long so they will easily fit modst holdalls and are easier to transport.
