An amazing pole that is a true all-rounder in every sense, but at its very best on modern day commercials. Perfectly balanced at all lengths with an outstanding overall balance and feel making it the perfect tool for canals, rivers and lakes, but it is the wall strength that will certainly win your vote. Manufactured from high modulus, high tensile Japanese carbon fibres bonded to our unique Super Toughened Epoxy Resins (STER) and 4MAT resins.
Again, this model incorporates our patented Nanolith multi-directional fibre technology providing the angler with a featherweight pole with incredible tip speed. Utilising our factory produced aerospace pre-pregs, we have designed a model that will handle double-figure carp with ease, but in the true sense, feels and handles like a match pole. At 13m, the weight and balance is second to none, but at 14.5m and 16m can only be described as amazing! Fishing the pole at 11m, the weight is a superb 590g and at 13m (mini extension excluded) a featherweight 845g.
The series 3 has been designed with strength in mind. That being said, the perfect balance and extreme rigidity allows for immediate response to shy bites helped largely due to the sheer rapidity of action and the damping resins in the pre-preg production. The weight distribution is faultless allowing the angler to fish at 14.5m and 16m lengths for much longer periods.
With power kits in place, the Darkside 3 will accommodate 20+ elastics with ease. The power kits are factory fitted with quality PTFE side slots for modern day puller kits and pre-bushed with internal PTFE bushes. The inclusion of Fusion technology to the power and match kits substantially improves rigidity and tip speed when heavier elastics are fitted. Internal Magic Steps are also present in both match and power kits allowing for the perfect free flow of elastic.
Each section features our innovative and patented black Suncore anti-friction finish. The fine honey comb of metal fibres impregnated into the pole walls increases strength but, above all, provides the best anti-friction surface for trouble-free shipping at speed in all weather conditions. Teflon joints are applied to sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 eliminating carbon to carbon wear.
