With a number of patents pending the Flatliner is without a doubt the most comfortable bedchair ever produced and sets a new benchmark in the bedchair market. And these are not just the opinions of people within Fox! Every single magazine editor and tackle industry expert that has seen and indeed used the Flatliner has shared the same opinions. Take for example Marc Coulson, editor of the UK’s largest carp magazine, Total Carp. During the 10 years that Marc has worked in the carp fishing industry he has tested and used pretty much every bedchair around so when it comes to bedchair design and comfort he knows what he is looking for and that is why our FX Flatliner is the bedchair that he uses for his own fishing!

Over 25 years ago we were the designers of the original, firstever, bedchair and in recent times it is fair to say that other companies have led the way in the design of these products. However, with the new FX Flatliner, Fox have well and truly reclaimed their throne as the king of bedchair manufacturers!
The Flatliner features a unique Double Hinge Bracket on the footend that has been designed to create a void inside the bedchair when it is folded away. This therefore allows enough space for a standardsized 3season sleeping bag to be folded inside. On all other bedchairs they achieve this by putting an angle in actual frame at the head end, which severely hinders your sleeping position and comfort as you cannot lie flat!
Even Flow Elastic has several benefits. Most other bedchairs use at least four lengths of elastic, where as the Flatliner only uses two, which start and finish at the head and foot ends and also run through the Cam (unlike any other bedchair on the market). This means that there are no sections of the mattress that are not elasticated, and therefore gives a much more consistent tension and firmer feel to the mattress
FlipCam System, which is a very special piece of innovation. All other bechairs, once unfolded, have the Cam’s pointing upwards and as we all know they are a real inconvenience. Not only do they get in the way but they also reduce the width of the mattress that you can actually utilize. This, however, is now a thing of the past as the Cam on the Flatliner swivels 180 degrees so that it points downwards
TwistLok legs, which can be operated with one hand. Simply twist the mechanism on the leg and the foot will fall into position. Then let go of the mechanism and it will automatically lock the leg into position it couldn’t be easier!
Mattress utilizes eyelets instead of the fabric loops. Eyelets allow the elastic to stretch when you sit on the bedchair and then retract when you get off of it. In addition the eyelets have been very carefully positioned around the perimeter of the mattress to ensure maximum support is achieved. They are positioned as close as they can be to the legs to ensure an even tension on the mattress
