From improved line management and distance casting we recommend soaking the bulk spool overnight. The Mono absorbs water becoming extra limp and will then go onto the reel spool very smoothly with excellent line lay.
For those who prefer a really natural looking translucent green, ESP Olive is ideal.
Blends in perfectly with underwater weed or algae and virtually disappears against those backgrounds.
It has exceptional knot strength and abrasion resistance plus it sinks well and lays on the bottom following the contours of the lake bed and remains inconspicuous especially when fishing slack lines.
