Browning Black Viper Mk2 Rod

We offer two different versions of the 13 Black Viper rod. The standard MK13 has an average action typical of 13 rods and is perfectly suited to slow-flowing rivers and lakes with typical casting ranges of 30 to 80 metres. The mellow action allows light hook-lengths to be used with confidence. The Black Viper MK13 is a fast actioned, more specialist version, which provides the power for casts up to around 100m without sacrificing its fish playing action. The dynamic design of the blank does all the work on the cast - meaning less effort is required from the angler. Long casts can be achieved even by anglers less experienced at long distance casting. Both rods are balanced for their length and feel as good as they look. Top quality fittings throughout.

Like the Black Viper MK13, the 14 version is also available in two types. The standard Black Viper MK14 is the ultimate casting tool. Far, further. furthest - you will never be out-distanced ! The high-modulus blank is powerful and designed for comfortable casting to distances of 70 to 120 m. Our dynamic blank designs throughout the range eliminate the need for violent, aggressive casts. Accurate casting to over 100m is both realistic and easily achievable with these rods. The Black Viper MK14 version is the ultimate powerhouse, with the same attributes as the standard MK14 rod, but with even more power for when big heavily loaded feeders are needed.
